Fizzi · For teachers & artists

Teach what you love. Let us handle the rest.

Fizzi books and produces hands-on creative workshops for companies and private groups. We bring you the bookings — you bring the craft.

Things you might be wondering.

Most artists who reach out have a version of these questions. Here's what we can tell you upfront — anything else is what the call is for.

Pay & terms
How do I get paid?

Teachers are paid a flat fee per event, agreed in advance. We believe artists deserve to be paid fairly for their craft, time, and the room they hold — and we work out the right number with you based on each booking. We share the exact amount before you commit to anything.

Am I exclusive to Fizzi?

No. Teach independently, on other platforms, run your own classes — whatever you're doing now keeps going. Fizzi is additional bookings, not a replacement for your practice.

What's the time commitment?

Entirely up to you. We send bookings as they come in; you say yes or no per event. Some teachers want one booking a month, others want every weekend — both are fine.

Logistics
Who provides materials?

Teachers bring their own materials — you know your craft and what works best for it. We step in when something specific is needed, like branded packaging or custom labels for a client gifting event, or if a particular booking calls for materials you don't typically source yourself.

Where do classes happen?

Usually at the client's office in NYC, occasionally at a partner studio. We confirm location with both you and the client in advance — and we'll never put you somewhere that doesn't work for your craft.

Do I need my own insurance?

Teachers work with Fizzi as independent professionals and are responsible for their own general liability coverage. Most working artists already carry this. Happy to point you in the right direction if you're new to it.

Fit & process
What kinds of events does Fizzi book?

Corporate offsites, team bonding sessions, client gifting events, holiday parties, and small private group bookings (birthdays, bachelorettes, etc.). Group sizes typically range from 10 to 40, with most sessions running 90 minutes to two hours.

What if I've never taught a corporate group before?

That's fine — we look for artists with a real practice and the ability to hold a room, not specifically corporate experience. We'll talk through what to expect on the call, and we're there to support you through your first booking.

How does the application process work?
